Prices & Cancellation Policy

At Running Paws & Fun Retreats, we understand that plans can change. To keep things fair for everyone and ensure smooth operations, please review our cancellation policy below.

1. Standard Cancellation Windows

  • One-off Walks -- cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Recurring/Weekly Walks -- cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Boarding & House Sitting -- cancel at least 7 days before the booking.
  • One-off Day Care -- cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Recurring/Weekly Day Care -- cancel at least 72 hours before the start time.
  • Pet Check-in Services -- cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Bark & Ride -- cancel at least 48 hours in advance.

2. Late Cancellations & Fees

  • Walks (Group/Solo/Extended) -- cancelled within 24 hours → 50% fee.
  • Recurring/Weekly Walks -- cancelled within 48 hours → 50% fee.
  • Boarding & House Sitting -- cancelled within 7 days → 50% of total balance.
  • One-off Day Care -- cancelled within 48 hours → 50% fee; cancelled within 24 hours (emergency booking) → 100% fee.
  • Recurring/Weekly Day Care -- cancelled within 72 hours → 50% fee.
  • Pet Check-ins -- cancelled within 48 hours → 50% fee.
  • Bark & Ride -- cancelled within 48 hours → 50% fee.

3. No-Shows (Walks)

If we arrive and cannot access your dog (e.g. no key, locked gate), the full fee will be charged.

4. Emergencies

We know life happens. Please contact us as soon as possible if an emergency arises. Fees may be waived at our discretion.

5. Weather Policy (Walks)

Your dog's safety comes first. In extreme weather (storms, heat, etc.), we may cancel or reschedule with no cancellation fee.

6. Holiday Bookings (Walks)

Cancellations around peak season dates must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Within this window, 75% of the fee will apply.

7. Refunds

Refunds for cancelled services (where applicable) will be processed within 5--7 business days.
